The Nigerian Army says findings from its investigation of the accidental bombing of villages in Tudun Biri, Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, will be released soon.
General Christopher Musa, Chief of Defence Staff, disclosed this during a Channels Television Interview monitored by DAILY POST on Tuesday.
He assured that the investigation will not be swept under the carpet.
“The outcome of the investigation will be made public very soon. We are sincere and fair; we want to know what truly happened to make amends. I can assure you that nothing will be thrown under the carpet.
“Nigerians must take ownership of the insecurity challenges facing the country.
“We are leveraging technology to end insecurity, especially to avert what happened in Kaduna”, he said.
Recall that in the first week of December, the Nigerian Army accidentally bombed villagers of Tundun Biri during the Maulad celebration.
The unfortunate incident sparked condemnation among Nigerians.
