The Kwara State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 general election, Alhaji Shuaib Yaman Abdullahi has extolled the leadership and governance style of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

This came to the fore during the governor’s visit to the Shonga born politician at his Shonga residence in Edu Local Government Area of the state on Sunday.

Yaman commended the governor for visiting and making peace with candidates who contested against him in the last election, affirming that, “such a move is worthy of emulation”.

His words, “Firstly, I commend you for finding time to visit me and others who contested against you in the last governorship election. This is a good move and worthy of emulation, Mr Governor.”

The PDP governorship candidate also praised AbdulRazaq for his relentless commitment to building a better and more prosperous Kwara for all despite the name-calling and propaganda against his performing government from the opposition parties in the state.

“I also want to commend you for your continued efforts to deliver your campaign promises to the good people of our dear state despite the attacks and propaganda against you from the opposition parties,” Yaman added.

Governor AbdulRazaq began visiting governorship candidates and leaders of opposition parties shortly after his victory to lead the state for another term after a meaningful and successful first term in office.

Some of whom he has visited are the candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Prof. Shuaib Oba Abdulraheem, SDP leader, Akogun Iyiola Oyedepo and now PDP’s Yaman Abdullahi just to mention a few.

However, the central of discussions with these politicians has always been based on the progress and development of the state.

For an all-inclusive government and governance, the governor has also appointed some of them into key positions in his government.
