5 members of Pastor Istifanus Tiswan’s family of Christ Embassy Church, Karji in Chikun local government area of Kaduna state have been kidnapped, says the Southern Kaduna People’s Union, SOKAPU.
Acording to the group, the reflector learnt that there has been an increase in kidnapping and other criminal activities on the outskirt of Kaduna Metropolis.
Spokesman of SOKAPU, Luka Beninyat, in a statement, disclosed the names of the 5 members who he said were kidnapped by gunmen of recent.
He said there names are; Faith Tiswan, Godsgift Tiswan, Ruth Tiswan, Damaris Tiswan and Michelle Tiswan.
According to the statement made by Luka, the kidnappers are yet to contact the victim’s family.
Mr Luka also said that 4 Gbagyi men on October 6, were ambushed and killed by armed men suspected to be herdsmen in Dande village, in Kunai ward of Chikun local government area of Kaduna.
Their names were given as John Musa, Habila Ibrahim, Maikudi Wasa and Samaila Audu.
Luka also said that natives of Katarma, Chikun ward are fleeing the area for their dare lives because of the contact insecurity they have to put up with.
He also said that the following villages between 2019 and 2020, have been displaced by suspected Fulani herdsmen: Kunai Ward Kudo (Dau), Sunusi Dnakwala, Galu, Aguyita, Galuko, Galiwyi, Atopi, Onkoru, Anguwan, Badole, Manini, Hayin Damisa, Anguwan Nyako, Badimi, Gnashi, Sarari , Giji, Dnapagbe, Badimi, Shelbula, Rafin yashi, Sabongida, Rafinyashi and several more
