Jibril Salutes Gov Bello, Sues For Peaceful Co-Existence And Tolerance
As Muslims faithfuls all over the world commemorates the willingness of prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Ishmael as an act of obedience to Allah SWT, Niger State commissioner for health, Dr. Mustapha Jibril has enjoined Muslims across Niger State and the country to use the Festival of Sacrifice to pray for sustainable peace, patience and tolerance.
In a statement issued shortly after observing the eid prayer, the commissioner appealed to Nigerlites to reflect on the spirit of the season, which focuses on obedience, taqwa, sacrifice and remembrance of prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son out of faith in Allah SWT.
He stressed that the festival reaffirms the oneness and eternal presence of Allah while tasking Nigerlites to toe the path of brotherhood irrespective of tribal but especially political and religious differences.
The Commissioner also urged especially Muslim youths to shun acts capable of disrupting the well-being of their future and respective communities and engage into productive ventures.
He then congratulated Mr Governor for witnessing another festival in good health while prayeing for the success and actualization of the progressive projections of President Muhammadu Buhari, the restoration agenda of Governor Abubakar Sani Bello and the APC come 2019.
