Why I Want To Represent My People – Babatunde Fabiyi
The race to represent Abeokuta Constituency 1 has been taken a new dimension with the entrance of the renowned philanthropist and aspiring politician, Hon Babatunde Johnson Fabiyi.
Fabiyi who hailed from Abeokuta South Local Government of Ogun State has pitched his tent with the newly formed Chief Olusegun Obasanjo backed African Democratic Congress (ADC), the platform in which he intends to pursue his ambition.
Speaking to our correspondent, Fabiyi said his plan to run for election to represent his people is borne out of love and patriotism.
“The plan to represent my people is a genuine one, I want them to feel the essence of representation, we need to breathe a fresh life into lawmaking process to strengthen our democracy”.
“As at now, what we have in my constituency is not the best, the party politics in the present system has completely eroded the value of lawmaking.
Babatunde Fabiyi is a young entrepreneur and philanthropist of repute who have spent about two decades seeing to the immediate needs of his community. He Founded Tunde Fabiyi Foundation (TFF) in Nigeria. He is an Information Technology expert and youth mentor.
He once worked with the prestigious Westminster Abbey with a clean record. He also worked in different capacities with Modian Services UK LTD among others.
Fabiyi attended prestigious Abeokuta Grammar school before furthering his education in UEL in London. Tunde wishes to bring about a monumental development back to the premier council in Ogun State in empowering the youth for the next generation to bring improvements to Abeokuta.
