Next Governor Will Come From South After My 2nd Tenure, Says Obiano


Stakeholders and people of Anambra South senatorial zone recently gathered at Ifeanyi Ubah Stadium, Nnewi, Nnewi South Local government area to

declare their unalloyed support to APGA for the November 18th governorship election.

The stakeholders include the Former Governors of Anambra state, Chief Chukwuemeka Ezeife and Dame Virgy Etiaba, captains of Industries, religious and traditional leaders, government officials, among.

The event, which was organized by former PDP heavyweight, Dr Ifeanyi Ubah, attracted representatives from all the political wards in the zone who are aligned with the Afa Igbo efuna movement.

Expressing appreciation to the convener of the event, Governor Obiano assured that his constitutional four years bid will bring power to Anambra South, which has been unanimously agreed by elders in the state.

He maintained that his government will sustain his investments in youth entrepreneurship and promised to partner with Ifeanyi Ubah Football Club to produce breed of footballers who will represent the state at both national and international levels.

Governor Obiano reminded the electorate that the upcoming election will determine the future of the state in the next four years, urging them to ensure total victory for APGA to enable them enjoy further developments his administration would unleash.

A former Governor of the State, Dr Chukwuemeka Ezeife, pointed out that Igbos have obviously been marginalized in the country and said only APGA had the capacity to protect Igbos against victimization from external powers.

Also, the Chairman, Obiano Re-election Committee, Chief Victor Umeh, and the National Chairman, APGA, Chief Victor Oye, revealed that Governor Obiano has been in the fore-front of championing Igbo cause, saying the future of Anambra youths would further be redefined in the party.

On his part, the Convener and the CEO, Ifeanyi Ubah Football Club, Chief Ifeanyi Ubah, explained that his decision to support APGA was to uphold the identity of Igbos.

The event also witnessed total endorsement by Nollywood actors, as well as live performance by a renowned Nigerian artists, Flavour.
