Some political stakeholders in the State have continued to bare their minds on yesterday’s inauguration of the re-election campaign of Governor Willie Obiano.
While speaking during the ceremony the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Barrister Rita Maduagwu said that the mammoth crowd that graced the event was an indication that Governor Obiano will emerge victorious in the November eighteenth gubernatorial election.
On his part, the Deputy Speaker State House of Assembly, Sir Hafford Oseke noted that APGA has come to stay in Anambra State and expressed confidence that Governor Obiano will beat his opponents as he has performed creditably.
In their separate speeches the Member representing Onitsha North Constituency One Mr Chugboo Enwezor, his Ogbaru Constituency One counterpart, Sir Benson Nwawulu, the Member representing Njikoka Constituency Two, Dr Pete Ibida noted that Governor Obiano has recorded spectacular achievements in office and should be supported to continue with the good work he is doing in the State.
On his part, the Member representing Anambra East Constituency, Mr Obinna Emenaka his Nnewi North counterpart, Chief Kenneth Anazodo assured that their constituencies will vote enmasse for APGA in the election.
The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on House of Assembly Matters, chief Edozie Ezeugwa and his Labour Matters counterpart Comrade Godwin Ibekwe, expressed happiness at the massive turnout of APGA members at the ceremony adding that the Governor has performed beyond expectations to deserve a second term.
