The Anambra state residents in Enugu has throw their strength behind the reelection campaign of Gov. Willie Obiano.

The Association made the declaration, when the State Deputy Governor, Dr. Nkem Okeke received in audience, the Executive Council of Anambra State Peoples’ Assembly, ASPA, Enugu state Council, on behalf of Governor Willie Obiano.

Receiving the delegation at the Government House, Awka, Deputy Governor Okeke called for adherence to the Zoning system which favors Governor Obiano.

Dr Okeke said the zoning system is one of the ways to ensure delivery of the dividends of good governance, as according to him it would reduce campaign expenses and eliminate politics of bitterness.

Deputy Governor Okeke who urged eligible voters to vote in Governor Willie Obiano for a second term in office, stressed that his accomplishments in all sectors of the State economy speak volumes, and should be consolidated.

He noted that the present administration is already doing marvelously well in private sector engagement, saying that it is one of its success secrets, and commended the group for forming a united front, urging them to help mobilize members of the group to come out en masse to cast their vote.

The President General of the group, Honorable Ugochukwu Okobi who said that the solidarity visit was aimed at commending the government of the day for good governance, emphasized that they have supported successive administrations in the State, pledging continued support for Governor Willie Obiano’s administration.

Honorable Okobi, while making a number of demands from State government, such as aid for the proposed building of Anambra House, capable of accommodating one hundred and seventy seven communities in Anambra, provision of mobility, among others, said they will take back government’s message to the General Meeting of the Assembly, to mobilize eligible voters for the coming poll.
