Manchester City have ended their interest in Alexis Sanchez as they feel the potential deal has become too expensive, according to Sky sources.
It is understood City would have had to commit to spending in excess of £60m to compete with offers already on the table for the Arsenal forward - something that Pep Guardiola and the club were unwilling to do.

Nigeria’s Sunday Oliseh created history over the weekend, as he led his clubside Fortuna Sittard to their first title in 23 years.
The Oliseh-tutored side beat Ajax Jong 2-1 in a Dutch second division encounter played before a crowd of 7,100.
Two goals from Djibril Dianessy gave Fortuna Sittard their first crack at a silverware since 1995.
Afterwards, Sunday Oliseh expressed delight with his team’s achievement.
